SpeedBox B.Tuning is an advanced tuning solution with Bluetooth connectivity and mobile app integration, designed specifically for e-bikes with Bosch Gen4 motors and Smart System. It enables enhanced riding flexibility while giving you full control and visibility through the SpeedBox App.

Speed Display Logic

When using SpeedBox B.Tuning, the bike display shows adjusted values above 22.2 km/h:

• 22.3 on display = actual speed 23 km/h
• 23.1 on display = actual speed 31 km/h
• Accurate speed and ride data are always visible in the SpeedBox App

How SpeedBox B.Tuning Works

• After installation, access the menu and set the correct wheel circumference
• Activate tuning via:
  • SpeedBox mobile app, or
  • WALK assist function (hold the “-” button)
• Activation confirmation: display shows 9.9 km/h
• Deactivation: repeat the process (display shows 2.5 km/h)
• If WALK assist is unavailable:
  • Activate/deactivate using button sequence: + - + -

App Setup & Security

• Set a PIN code during first app use for secure access
• Create a service password for recovery or changes
• Requires Bluetooth 4.0 or higher on your smartphone

Smart Countdown System

• Automatically runs after each ride to ensure correct data synchronisation
• Display shows increasing riding time during countdown
• Once completed, correct distance is displayed
• Process can be paused but should run regularly to maintain optimal performance

SpeedBox App Features

Installation & Assembly

• Uses original connectors for secure and accurate installation

• Easy removal and reinstallation process
• Recommended to ride at least 1 km before activating tuning on a new bike

Important: Always connect male and female connectors correctly in the direction of the lock. Do not rotate connectors during installation.
